With Xilinx we are exploring the use of FPGA in the data center with the goal of designing computer platforms that are more efficient in terms of performance, energy consumption, and space requirements. This exploration effort encompasses from the architectural aspects to algorithm design, to maximize the advantages offered by specialized hardware and application specific hardware accelerators.
